About PRSSA Regional Activity Chicago 2009: February 20

Valparaiso and DePaul Universities are excited to announce the co-hosting of the 2009 Regional Activity in Chicago. This conference will bring together professionals and students from throughout the Midwest to experience 'A Taste of Chicago PR' on February 20 at the DePaul Center in the heart of Chicago.
There is no better city in the Midwest for PR than Chicago, with its city life, diverse professional opportunities, and competitive atmosphere. This Regional Activity will serve as an incredible opportunity for students to get a feel for all that Chicago has to offer.
Some programming highlights include keynote speaker and former Chicago PRSA President Cheryl Proctor Rodgers, APR. Local industry representatives will be leading three rotating professional development sessions, as well as hosting a professional panel gathered specifically to provide insight into the Chicago PR scene.
This event also offers a rare opportunity to bring many Chicago PR employers together in one room; Chicago area agencies, corporations, non-profits, and other areas of PR will be represented at a job and internship fair, creating a fantastic environment in which young professionals can build an extended network of contacts and get a head start in their career.
